    If you're recently (or not so recently) postnatal and want to give yourself some weekly TLC, time to reconect with your body and meet other new parents, this is for you.
     
    Sessions will include mindfulness, movement to ease owie backs and shoulders, tips for pelvic health, movement for core strength, and ideas to ease everyday life and save your neck, wrists and tired arms.
     
    Movements are based on biomechanics and the exercises are designed to fit into everyday life.
     
    No B.S. No unrealistic expectations. It's a come as you are class.

      Movement that works with your pelvic floor to help develop strength and length so it can respond as needed.

      Core Strength

      Safe, effective exercises for diastasis recti (tummy gap).

      Body Positivity

      This isn't about 'snapping back' or how you look, but how you feel and are.

      It's a no B.S. zone

      You can come as you are, you can bring your baby. Some days will be loud and messy, other days peaceful and chilled. It's all welcome here.

    • About Emilie

      As well as being mum to 2 kids, Emilie's a level 3 YMCA trained fitness pro, with over 12 year experience as a doula and facilitator of classes, courses and grousp as well as 1-2-1 work with new mums and growing families.

       

      She's here to help you understand your body better, bringing her unique combination of experience and training to help you reconnect with yourself after birth in a simple, deep, connected way.

       

      It'll be more than just an exercise class with tips to take away and time to chat to one another.

      What's included?

      what do you get when you sign up?

      As well as the 6 live classes in Frome, you’ll get access to:

      • a bank of videos that you can access any time to help bring the movement into your every day life (normally £25)
       

      • a free massage ball and exercise band are included in the price. They can be really helpful for keeping you moving throughout the rest of your week. (retails at £10)
       

      If you’ve signed up to the TLC package you also get a one-to-one session (£75 if booked separately).

      What should I bring?

      kit list

      As part of the course I will give you a band and a ball to use in classes, they are yours to keep.

       

      BYO:

      • mat

      • blanket / towel

      •water bottle

       

      +

      • whatever baby needs:
      e.g. blanket / quiet toys.

      Do you do drop-in classes?

      nope - sorry.

      I only run this as block of classes.

      As well as helping me know who's coming and when, we all get to know one another.

       

      • You will get a better sense of the range of movements that are available

      • 6 weeks gives you enough time to start to make a connection with the group

      • Building a sense of community helps you all to show up, make friends and be part of the club.

      Can I bring my baby?

      of course!

      The sessions are designed to fit in with life as a new parent, so babies are totally welcome ♡

       

      Equally, if you have childcare and are craving some space, it's fine to fly solo.

       

      Don't worry if you can't do al the things every week, that's part of the reason that you get access to the video library.

        Classes and Workshops
    
        1. Block Bookings (i.e. a course of classes) may be cancelled in certain medical circumstances by arrangement. If there is a waiting list for your course and a cancellation is made more than 2 weeks in advance of the course start date, I will try and fill your place if. No refunds will be made for cancellations within 2 weeks of the course start date or after a course has begun.
    
        2. Private Classes will be refunded or rescheduled if 7 full days notice is given, a 30% refund or alternative booking will be offered if more than 48 hours notice is given.
    
        3. Concessionary Discounts are available - please discuss with Emilie to get a discount code.
    
        4. A booking is confirmed once I and the client have both agreed a date, time, duration and location fo the session.
    
        5. I reserve the right to refuse admission.     
    
        6. I reserve the right to alter the programme delivery or teaching staff if circumstances are beyond my control (e.g. illness, venue problems, emergencies etc.)
    
        7. If a class or workshop has to end or is interrupted for reasons beyond my control sessions will not be refunded.
    
        8. Latecomers may be admitted at the discretion of management and teacher/workshop leader.
    
        9. Timetable may be subject to change during the school holidays.
    
        10. Refunds will be issues or an alternative offered is sessions are cancelled by us.
    
        11. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.

    Your privacy matters to me, so this information is kept under lock and key if it’s on paper or password protected if digital. It’s a condition of my insurance that I keep records for 7 years. This website is connected to Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Acuity and Facebook. 
    
    I do my best to ensure that services I use (e.g. Acuity) also uphold your privacy. I cannot be responsible for data breaches elsewhere, if you prefer records to be kept on paper please let me know and we can make that happen.
