TRUST YOUR INNER POWER
Learn more about your inner capacity to birth through exploring movement and emotions in a way that can help you
Birth is a transformation, a rite of passage and a hero’s journey, but there is often very little light to guide your way. With more and more medicalised processes and fewer opportunities for deep connection, sadly - too often, birth often leaves people feeling lonely and in pain rather than with a sense of pride and connection.
DEEP AND SIMPLE
This group course is a beta version which brings together the strands of my work with mothers, dads and doulas over the past 15 years. So, it’s new but it’s not. It's open to all birthing people and their supporters, whatever than might look like. The approaches of biomechanics and embodiment are similarly new (but old). Biomechanics is the science of the way we are put together; how muscles, fascia and bones interact. It’s marvellous knowledge to have, but it is sometimes taught in a reductive way that doesn’t make space for the individual or intuitive self.
Step into being your own expert.
Make active choices that will benefit you and your baby.
I'm here to hold your hand as you do the deep work to prepare for your sovereign birth.
Embodied Biomechanics for Birth
This program includes partners. There are specific sessions for them to join along with you and that are just for those supporting their loved one to help them gain tools for labour and beyond.
This entire approach puts you in the position of power, with a focus on awareness and choice. They are underpinning fundamental principles.
GROUP WORK + 1-2-1 SESSIONS
Learn and bond with a group of other expectant parents while you get to grips with the anatomy and nervous system info and movement practice.
You'll also get the benefit of monthly 1-2-1 sessions with the opportunity to ask questions and be coached for your specific needs.
WHOLE SELF APPROACH
We're in the 'spiritual but not religious' camp - recognising the depth of the experience of birthing, its potential to be a healing or traumatic experience as well as bringing together knowledge that's both scientific and ancestral.
