Whether you're 6 weeks or 36 weeks, this is your starting point. Everything here is about helping you feel informed, calm, and connected to your body as it changes.

    Early pregnancy — settling in

    Section image

The first trimester can feel like a secret you're keeping while your body quietly works to grow new life. You might be exhausted, nauseous, excited, nervous, or all of this. It can be hard feeling all of this inside and keeping it quiet.

Right now, your body is doing extraordinary work. Listen to your body, rest when possible, move gently when you can, and be kind to yourself when neither feels possible.

If you're struggling with nausea or fatigue, small things can help: eating little and often, getting outside for fresh air even if it's just a few minutes. Your body knows what it's doing, even when it doesn't feel like it.

    What might help right now:

    • Pregnancy Mindfulness - gentle breathwork and nervous system tools to ease anxiety and help you feel more grounded
    • Massage - specialist pregnancy massage can help you rest properly and prepare your body to adapt. These sessions are deeply nurturing.

You don't need to have everything figured out.

You're allowed to just be here, in this tiring, miraculous beginning.

  • Second Trimester

Energy returns — time to prepare

    Section image

The second trimester sometimes feels like coming up for air. The nausea may lift, energy returns, and many people feel ready to relax into pregnancy. Most people feel more like themselves - so it's a good time to start thinking about birth.

Your body is changing more quickly now. Your bump is visible, your centre of gravity is shifting, you might notice new sensations, aches or twinges as everything makes space. You might also start thinking about your pelvic floor. It's worth understanding what it actually does (and no, it's not just about Kegels).

If you're starting to feel anxious about labour, now is a good time to address that. Fear doesn't help birth - but tools, knowledge, and a calm nervous system do. Hypnobirthing isn't about pretending birth won't hurt. It's about learning to trust your body in conjuction with making empowered choices (including having a supportive people around you for your birth).

    What might help you:

    • Pregnant Pelvis Workshop - regular online workshops to help understand your body better + prep for birth.
    • Hypnobirthing - mind and body birth prep in small groups or privately.
    • Pregnancy Massage - specialist nurturing massage to help you adapt to your changing body and unwind.
    • Birth Coaching - practical, embodied preparation for you and your birth partner, online or in person

    You've got time.

If something's nagging at you - a worry, a question, a sense that you'd like some support - this is the time to reach out.

  • Support for birth

    Final stretch - getting ready

    Section image

The third trimester can be very full. Literally. Your body is working hard, sleep is elusive, and everything takes more effort than it used to. Not quite on mat leave yet, you're juggling a lot. You might feel ready, or you might feel like you'll never be ready. Both are completely normal.

This is when late pregnancy aches sometimes show up: lower back pain, pelvic girdle pain, restless legs, swollen feet. Small adjustments here can make a big difference - how you move, how you rest, what positions feel supportive. Your body is preparing for birth, not necessarily for the things you do daily.

If you haven't done any birth prep yet, it's ok. Even a few weeks of focussed tools and practice can change how you approach labour. And if you have prepared, this is the time to keep practising - breathwork, movement, visualisation, whatever helps you feel steady.

Some people find ritual helpful in these final weeks. A Mother Blessing is a way to mark this transition, to feel held by the people who care about you, and to step into birth feeling honoured rather than anxious.

    What might help right now:

    • Hypnobirthing — if you haven't started, you can still join (yes, even at 38 weeks)
    • Massage — to ease the aches, improve sleep, and give your body some relief
    • Mother Blessing — a meaningful, modern ritual to honour this threshold

    You're so close!

Your body knows what to do. And when the time comes, you'll meet your baby.
